Serakki Playtest Terms

Version: 2026-10-21

The playtest gives you free access to the complete Serakki product: Mini, the full Serakki game and Studio, on desktop and in the cloud. Updates can break compatibility and erase progress or other stored data, including during the playtest. It ends with a hard reset of all playtest accounts and their hosted data, announced in advance, with no migration or restoration promised. You may keep and use desktop playtest builds already obtained, without further voluntary support. You can register again afterwards; Mini will remain free.

1. Scope and acceptance

These additional terms concern the Serakki desktop and cloud playtest provided by Marek Hanzal, the sole trader identified in the Terms of Service. They supplement the application license and, for hosted accounts and cloud functions, the Terms of Service. The Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing.

These conditions apply when presented to you and accepted as part of your playtest agreement. Publishing them or showing a playtest notice does not retrospectively change an agreement you already accepted or remove rights you already hold. Mandatory law takes priority over conflicting wording.

2. Free playtest access

The playtest gives you free use of the complete current Serakki product: Serakki Mini, the full Serakki game and its world, and Studio, including their features in the official desktop editions and hosted cloud applications. No purchase is required for this playtest access. Normal account and license checks continue to apply; this playtest offer supplies the permission to use these products.

Playtest participation does not place a paid order, create a subscription or automatically convert into a paid Early Access purchase. Cloud playtest access ends with the playtest. The permission to keep and use already obtained desktop playtest builds is described in section 5; it does not grant an entitlement to Early Access, the final release or later builds after the playtest ends.

3. A temporary test environment

The playtest is a temporary test environment. Do not use it as permanent storage or keep the only copy of anything important there. Account-linked saves, gameplay progress, projects, resources, Notes and settings may be lost, deleted or become unusable during testing.

Updates may break compatibility at any point during the playtest as well as at its end. Things created or saved in one version may no longer load or work in the next, including any copies you keep outside the Service. Defects, interruptions, changes and test resets may also affect access and stored data.

Subject to mandatory law, I do not promise continued availability, unchanged features, preservation of accounts or data, migration, restoration, an export service or compatibility between versions. The general Service terms do not create those promises for the playtest. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. The hard reset at the end of the playtest

The hosted playtest environment ends with a hard reset as part of the transition to Early Access. All playtest accounts and their associated hosted data will be deleted, including saves, gameplay progress, projects, resources, Notes and settings. There is no transfer of that account or data into Early Access. You may register again, including with the same email address; doing so starts a new account and does not restore anything from the playtest.

Files you keep on your own device remain under your control and may be incompatible with later versions, as described in section 3.

Breaking changes in new versions are one reason for this reset. I will announce the end of the playtest and the planned deletion in advance, including when it will happen and what will be affected. No contractual migration, recovery or export period is promised. An urgent security issue or legal obligation may require different timing as described in the Terms of Service.

Closing playtest accounts does not take ownership of your original content, remove your statutory rights or cancel a separate license you lawfully obtained outside this temporary playtest offer. Records that must lawfully be retained, and provider backups, follow the purposes and retention rules in the Privacy Policy rather than a promise of immediate erasure from every system.

5. What follows the playtest

You may keep and continue using official desktop playtest builds you lawfully obtained, including the full game and its Studio, under the EULA. That permission does not expire merely because the playtest ends. It does not include continued cloud access or a right to new builds, updates, Early Access or the final release.

After the playtest ends, those desktop playtest builds receive no further voluntary support or maintenance. I no longer accept ordinary bug reports, feature requests or voluntary technical-support requests for those builds. The statutory complaints, privacy and legal contact routes remain available; security reports can still be sent to support@serakki.dev.

Mini will remain free after the transition. You will need to register again to use account-based access following the reset.

Early Access availability, Serakki pricing and any Early Access discount will be described in a separate offer and its applicable terms before a purchase. These playtest terms do not set a price, promise a discount amount or require you to buy anything. There is no fixed playtest end date in this document; planned dates are estimates until the transition is announced.

6. Feedback and contact

Feedback is welcome and voluntary. You can report problems or ask questions at support@serakki.dev; the Serakki Discord is optional. Sharing diagnostics remains voluntary and follows the Privacy Policy.

For account closure, privacy requests, statutory complaints and questions about these conditions, use support@serakki.dev. The complaint process, applicable consumer remedies and dispute provisions in the Terms of Service remain available during the free playtest.
